Shipping & Delivery

Items purchased online can be collected free of charge from our shop in Rye.

​

Delivery of large or bulky items can be arranged to properties at ground level and will be undertaken by a third-party specialist delivery company. These services will be chargeable, with pricing agreed upon at the point of sale or, at the latest, before delivery confirmation. These deliveries are subject to those carriers’ terms and conditions.

Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access is available on the confirmed delivery date and time. Late cancellations or additional costs incurred as a result of access being impossible or unsafe will be chargeable to the purchaser.

While we do our best to minimise damage to the customer’s property during delivery, Rarity at Rye will not be held responsible for costs arising from damage to decorated surfaces or customer’s belongings during the delivery process.

 

Returns & Refunds

Subject to the Sale of Goods Act, all products are sold as seen. Customers should inspect items carefully to ensure they are suitable for their requirements before making a purchase.

Please notify us within 14 days if there is a problem with your purchase and we will always do our utmost to resolve any issues.

Where purchasing online, you have the right to return your item within 14 working days from the day after you receive it. All returned products must be in the condition they were in when they were delivered and in their original packaging.

 

If you are returning due to damage from delivery, please make sure you take photographs of the packing and item and send by email to info@rarityatrye.co.uk.  Please ensure you keep hold of the packaging as the delivery company may need to inspect it.​

If you have decided to return the item due to a change of mind, please note that you will be liable for arranging any delivery and return costs.

The return address is Rarity at Rye, 67-81 Winchelsea Road, Rye, East Sussex TN31 7EL.

​​Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. â€‹If approved, then your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your PayPal, debit or credit card or original method of payment, within a three working days.​
